 Frederick Area Divers

 

 

Frederick Area Divers, FAD for short, is a one-meter, springboard diving program for boys and girls ages 6 through 18 in Frederick, Maryland.  For eight weeks every summer, we provide a low-key, fun yet instructional environment designed to teach the techniques of this exciting sport. We also offer new and returning divers the experience of competing against teams in the Central Maryland Diving League.

 

 

No Experience Necessary  Only requirements are a desire to learn and the ability to swim to the ladder.

 

 

Safety is Our First Priority  We don't "push" limits.  As strength, awareness, and ability increase so will the level of diving.

 

 

Build a Solid Foundation of Skills  Each practice includes strength and flexibility training, tumbling, and deck drills as well as board workouts.
