Rhonda Ramsburg, Jason's mother has been taking these photos, however she is unable most of the time to get to the first half of the meets. Any parent who would like to take photos of the first half and can upload them to our website, please feel free to do!

Team Photo Day - July 13th, 2011

Team and individual pictures will be taken on Wednesday, July 13th at Baker Park. Individual

photos will be taken at 4:30pm followed by the team photo at 5:00pm.

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR DIVER WEARS THEIR FAD TEAM

2011 FAD Practice/Meet Schedule Revision

SORRY FOR THE CONFUSION ABOUT THE DIVE PRACTICE FOR WEDNESDAY, JUNE 29TH, 2011 ON THE

2011 SEASON SCHEDULE !

Please go to calendar on this website and you will see that it has been revised.

We will have a home meet on Thursday, June 30th, so once again dive sheets will be completed at tomorrow's practice for that meet.

Dive Sheets

PARENTS : Please let the coaches and the divers complete their dive sheets on their own - parents are

asked to NOT get involved with this process, and to stay away from the picnic tables where the dive

sheets are being completed.

The coaches know what the divers can do and will teach them how to complete a dive sheet; explain the dive numbers and DD's to them. If they are too young, the coaches will complete the dive sheet for them.

It slows down the process when parents are involved at this point and takes away from the practice time. You can always schedule a time before or after practice to discuss your concerns with any of the coaches.

Our team is made up of divers, coaches and volunteers. Volunteers are needed to help with many tasks and without them, FAD will not run.

Changes to the Calendar

PLEASE MAKE NOTE: changes have been made to the Practice/Dive Meet Calendar. This calendar of practice dates/times and meet dates is the final calendar and no further changes should be necessary.

Please make a note of the dive meets and where they take place. You can find directions to the other pools on this website. If you are unsure, don't hesitate to ask our wonderful parent rep Sandy !

Our First Practice - June 2nd, 2011

Good Morning FAD Families ~

Our first practice will be tonight at 5:00. John Smith, the coach, called me last night and has decided to make our first practice a “meet and greet” night. The divers will not be getting in the water, but will have a chance to meet John and find out what to expect from practices – like always bring tennis shoes for dry-lands practice.

Parents will have a chance register if you haven’t already; a chance to sign up for volunteer positions, and a chance to listen to John’s expectations for the summer.

Please pass this on to anyone who you know might be registering but hasn’t yet – I may not have their email addresses.

It’s going to be a fun season!

Pre-Season Diving Practices

John Smith, the FAD coach, is once again offering pre-season diving practices on Monday and Thursday evening from 8:00 – 9:30. The Germantown Indoor Swim Center is closed for painting, but John will be offering the same classes at Montgomery Aquatic Center.

Registration for John’s class and for other classes from the Montgomery Dive Club go to http://www.montgomerydiveclub.org/ to the red REGISTRATION button – directions for registering are listed on the website. John’s classes are codes: 307323 (Monday) and 307324 (Thursday).
