Important Dates and Related Information
Mail-in registration for the '09 summer season will begin May 3. The deadline for receipt of fees, forms and confirmation of membership with AAU will be June 1. After this date, a late registration fee of $10 will be charged and divers may register in person during regular practices, depending on space available. Click here for a printable schedule.
For divers who wish to practice with the team on a trial basis (no one is cut from the team!), the diver instruction fee is fully refundable until June 15th.
For insurance reasons, all divers must join AAU before they can practice with FAD. Find online AAU membership information in Forms. AAU fees are not refundable. Be sure to print AAU membership card.
Practices are held at the Edward P. Thomas Pool in Baker Park (see directions) from 5:30 to 8:00 pm on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday (when no meet is scheduled) beginning Monday, June 1.
We will have six meets, -- three at our home pool and three away at pools in the CMDL. Meets take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays (home: warm-ups at 3:30 pm/away: warm-ups at 4:30 pm).
Attendance at practices and meets is not mandatory. However, it is very important to let the coaches know in advance whether or not you plan to compete in a meet.
Practices are cancelled when the pool is closed due to severe weather, cold temperatures or other misc. reasons. Cancelled practices are not made up.
