  FAD is in the Blue Division of the CMDL along with Dulaney, Lochearn/Crosby Crossing, North St. Johns, Padonia, and West Howard.  Each season, we will compete in away meets at three of these pools.  (See the Calendar page for details of time and place.)  Since any pool in the league may host special meets or clinics during the season, addresses for all the pools can be found here in alphabetical order.  Note that the directions to away pools assume that the driver is headed east on I-70 from Frederick County.

Crofton-1719 Reynolds Street, Crofton, MD 21114

Take I-70 East towards Baltimore.  Merge onto US-29S/Columbia Pike, Exit 87A toward Columbia/Washington.  Merge onto MD-100 East, Exit 22 on the left toward Glen Burnie. Merge onto I-97 South, Exit 13A towards Annapolis / Bay Bridge (~4 miles after BW pkwy).  Stay on I-97 S for ~6 miles and then take Exit 7 (Rt 32 West /Route 3 S) towards Bowie/Odenton for ~ ½ mile, then stay to the left for Rt 3 (Crain Hwy) towards Crofton (Do NOT get on Rt 32 West).  Follow Rt 3 for ~ 4 miles & after passing a McDonald’s on the left, and going through light at Rt. 424, take left @ next light onto Crawford Blvd.  Bear to the right at the fork and merge onto Crofton Pkwy for approx 1 mile & turn right on Reynolds Street.  (Street sign for Reynolds is hard to see - it’s the 1^st right after Tarrytown Ave).  Pool entrance is ~.3 mile on the right (5^th right).  Approximate driving time from Frederick: 1 Hour 15 min.

Notes / Amenities:  Concessions sold to benefit the Dive Team.  Plenty of chairs and shade are available.  Do not park in Fire Zones.  Handicapped Accessible; except bathrooms.

Crosby Crossing-1315 Black Friars Road, Catonsville, MD 21228

Take I-70 East towards Baltimore.  At the Baltimore Beltway, take outer loop--Baltimore/Glen Burnie.  Take Exit 15B to US-40 West towards Ellicot City.  At second traffic light, make slight right onto N. Rolling Road.  Make right onto Chesworth Rd. (– the first light after turning onto Rolling Road).  Follow Chesworth Rd. to near the end.  Take the last right before Chesworth runs into another road.  This is Black Friars Road.  Pool is on the left.  Approximate driving time from Frederick: 50 min. 

Notes/Amenities:  Handicapped accessible, except bathrooms.

Dulaney- 234 East Ridgely Road, Timonium, MD 21093

Take I-70 East towards Baltimore.  At the Baltimore Beltway, take inner loop--New York/Towson.    Take Exit 26 at York Rd. going North toward Lutherville.  Follow York Rd. to Ridgely Road (approx. 1-2 miles).  Turn right onto Ridgely Rd.  Go through light to Charmouth Road.  After Margate Road, look for pool entrance on left.  Approx. driving time from Frederick:  1 hour.

Notes/Amenities:  Full service snack bar. Plenty of chairs. Handicapped accessible.

Five Oaks -1817 Frederick Road, Catonsville, MD  21228

Take I-70 East towards Baltimore.  At the Baltimore Beltway, take outer loop--Baltimore/Glen Burnie.  Take Exit 13 for Frederick Rd.  Turn right onto Frederick Rd.  Pass through five lights.  (The last one is South Rolling Rd./Hillcrest Elementary is at the intersection on the right.)  Travel about 1/4 mile.  The pool will be on the left just prior to the light at North Rolling Rd.  Approx. driving time from Frederick: 1 hour.

Notes/Amenities: Concessions sold. Must bring own chairs!  Handicapped accessible, except restrooms.

Forest Hill- 4310 Columbia Rd, Ellicott City 21043

Take I-70 East towards Baltimore.  Merge onto US-29 S/Columbia Pike, Exit 87A toward Columbia/Washington. Take 29 S to Exit 23- to St. Johns Lane.  Turn right at the stop light off the exit. Go to end of street and turn left. Again, go to end of street and turn left onto Columbia Rd. Entrance road to club is less than ¼ mile on right hand side, immediately after white barn house.  Approx. driving time from Frederick: 1 hour.

Notes/Amenities:  Plenty of chairs. Full service snack bar. Handicapped accessible, except for clubhouse.

Take Rt 15 North/Gettysburg to Exit 14/ Rosemont Ave. At traffic light at the end of the exit ramp, go straight onto W. 2nd St.  Continue on W. 2nd St. for about. .8 mile.  At first traffic light, turn right onto College Ave.  Take first right onto Fleming Ave.  The pool is on the left.  Park anywhere you can find a spot on the street.  Note that Fleming Ave. is one-way.  To return to Rt. 15, drive past the pool on Fleming Ave.  At stop sign at the end of Fleming, turn right onto W. College Terrace.  At first stop sign (4-way stop),  turn left onto W. 2nd St.  At first traffic light, turn left onto Rosemont Ave.  Follow signs for Rt. 15 South.

Lochearn- 3600 Campfield Road, Baltimore, MD 21207

Take I-70 East towards Baltimore.  At the Baltimore Beltway, take inner loop--New York/Towson.  Take  Exit 18A Liberty Rd/MD-26 E towards Lochearn.  Turn right onto Liberty Rd.  Go through approximately four traffic lights on Liberty Road.  After the intersection of Liberty Road and St. Lukes Lane, make your next left onto Campfield Road.  Make the first left on a gravel road into the club.  The club is set back in the woods.  Approx. driving time from Frederick: 1 hour.

Notes/Amenities:  Parking is limited, so carpool if possible.  Bring chairs. Concessions are sold to benefit the dive team.  Handicapped Accessible.

Take I-70 East towards Baltimore.  Merge onto US-29 S/Columbia Pike, Exit 87A toward Columbia/Washington.  Take Route 29 South to Route 40 West (1st exit) and stay on 40 West to St. John's Lane - 1st right. Take St. John's Lane to Marydell Road on right (1^st right after St. Johns Elementary school). Follow Marydell Road to end for North St. John's Pool.  Approx. driving time from Frederick:  45 min.

Take I-70 East towards Baltimore.  At the I-695 Baltimore Beltway, take inner loop--New York/Towson. Proceed approx. 12 miles to Exit 24/ I-83 North. Take the Padonia Road West/Exit 17. At stop light, turn left onto Padonia Road.  Proceed up Padonia past 3 stoplights and past Graul’s Shopping center on the right. Turn left on Jenifer Road. Pool entrance is immediately on right.  Approx. driving time from Frederick: 1 hour.

Notes/Amenities:  Full service operation including full service snack bar. Bake table sponsored by the dive team.  Plenty of chairs and Cabana Bar open during Thursday dive meets.

Take I-70 East towards Baltimore.  Merge onto US-29S/Columbia Pike, Exit 87A toward Columbia/Washington.  Merge onto MD-100 East, Exit 22 on the left toward Glen Burnie. Merge onto I-97 South, Exit 13A towards Annapolis / Bay Bridge (~4 miles after BW pkwy).  Take I-97 S to exit 10A, Benfield Blvd.  Travel East on Benfield to the third light, Lynwood Drive.  Make a left onto Lynwood Drive.  Make a right onto Maryleborne Road (second right).  Go to Stop sign at Yorkshire Drive.  Make a left into pool parking lot.  Approx. driving time from Frederick: 1 hour.

Severn River- Cedar Avenue, Severna Park, MD 21146

Take I-70 East towards Baltimore.  Merge onto US-29S/Columbia Pike, Exit 87A toward Columbia/Washington.  Merge onto MD-100 East, Exit 22 on the left toward Glen Burnie. Merge onto I-97 South, Exit 13A towards Annapolis / Bay Bridge (~4 miles after BW pkwy).  Take I-97 S to exit 10A, Benfield Blvd.  Pass through four lights.  At the fifth light (in front of Severna Park High School), turn right onto Evergreen.  Go right at second street (Cedar Avenue).  Bear left at “Y”  in Cedar Avenue.  This is the entrance to the pool.  Approx. driving time from Frederick:  1 hour.

Take I-70 East towards Baltimore.  Merge onto US-29S/Columbia Pike, Exit 87A toward Columbia/Washington.  Merge onto MD-100 East, Exit 22 on the left toward Glen Burnie. Merge onto I-97 South, Exit 13A towards Annapolis / Bay Bridge (~4 miles after BW pkwy).  Follow I-97/301 south to 301 exit (about one mile south of Benfield Blvd.) marked Bowie/Odenton. (Caution: if you miss this exit, you will end up in Annapolis!).  About ¼ mile past this exit, bear left to go south to Bowie.  You will see Severn Valley Racket Club on right just before reaching Waugh Chapel Road.  There is a 7-11 and Texaco Station at intersection of Waugh Chapel Road and Rt. 3.  Turn right onto Waugh Chapel Road.  The pool is about 1.5 miles on the right on Waugh Chapel Road.  Approx. driving time from Frederick:  1 hour.

West Howard- Old Frederick Road, Lisbon, MD 21765

Take I-70 West to Exit 73, Woodbine/Lisbon.  Take Route 94 North towards Woodbine.  Go about 1 block and go 3/4 way around traffic circle onto Old Frederick Road.  Go .3 mile and turn left into pool parking lot.  Approx. driving time from Frederick: 30 minutes.
